Pex Plumbing Tools Concept
Pex is a polyethylene that is used for making pex plumbing tools. It has a high density. This polyethylene, which is cross-linked, is called PEX. The first pex was made much earlier than today’s time. The system pex is divided into certain types such as pex-a, pex-b and pex-c, the advantages of these tools, especially pipes; make them very handy and easy to carry in difficult situations.

The advantage of using pex plumbing tools such as pipes are that their reliability over the copper pipes especially in cases of plumbing activities. But advantages come with disadvantages too. The disadvantage of using pex plumbing tools is they can’t be used in areas where direct exposure to sunlight comes into play as pex pipes undergo degradation in heat i.e. direct sunlight. Leaving them directly exposed to sunlight for more than 30 days leads to their embrittlement. Pex plumbing tools are used to carry hot water and they can bend easily around nooks and corners as they are more flexible and in some cases their elbows can also be joined.

Another important advantage of pex plumbing tools is that they don’t require any replacement. In case they are leaking, or any cuts have arisen, they can be brought back into shape with adhesives. And in case of huge cuts, then also, the repairing remains simple. By adding more of the pex material through constantly heating it and placing it helps to repair it again. The main motive behind their development is the sole requirements of tools which can be used for heavy loads and carry fluid at very high temperatures. Three manufacturing methods have been made for developing pex plumbing tools.

First is peroxide method, which utilizes an extruder where peroxide is added to the resin by combining pressure and high temperature, the cross-linking happens. Second method is called “Silane". In this, grafting is done. The tubing is made by combining this compound with a catalyst, done by using an extruder. It can also be done by using the Monosil. After extrusion, the tubing faces steam or very hot water to get it cross-linked. The third is called Electron Beam. Cross linking happens when high energy radiation initiates cross-linking in molecules. Pex plumbing tools are extruded, taken for an E-beam routed under it in an accelerator where it releases a quantity of hydrogen atoms helps polymer chains unite with the carbon site.

Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia, also abbreviated as UTHM is a public university that is situated in Batu Pahat, Johar, Malaysia. This institute in its past days was known by the name Pusat Latihan Staf Politeknik (PLSP). The new name of the university was set afloat by the education minister, Dato' Seri Hishammuddin Bin Tun Hussein on 2 March, 2007.
The institute was founded on 16 September, 1993 and was administered with association of Unversiti Teknologi Malaysia and Ministry of Education Malaysia. The principal aim of the institute was to harvest polytechnics in fields of engineering. In later times, the institute was credited to produce human power in technical learning. On 27 September, 2000 university-college status was rewarded to the institute by Malaysian government. The institute was then called Kolej Univrsiti Teknologi Tun Hussein Onn (KUiTTHO). Finally, on September 20th, 2006 it gained the full university rank.
Like other universities, this university also has its vision, mission and motto. The university seeks to be the forerunner in developing the applications in field of science as well as in technology thereby, enhancing universal fortune, success and affluence. The sole mission of the university is to crop the professionals with sound knowledge of technology through all-inclusive academic plans. The university has a motto that exploration can be done only with the wisdom.
The university offers many academic programmes to students related to science and technology. Civil and Environmental Engineering, Electric and Electronic Engineering, Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, Technical Education, Technology Management and Information Technology and Multimedia are major courses that university provides.
